Inde Navarette's star-making role in Obsession is the NBA equivalent of Victor Oladipo's breakout with the Pacers or Lauri Markkanen's breakout with the Jazz.

The fact that we did not know what they were capable of made the experience even better!

Really happy for her and hope it gets better from here, and kudos to Obsession for casting her instead of Jenna Ortega (KEEP READING).

Ortega's a quality actress, but going with an unknown helped make the film feel more mysterious because audiences didn't know what to expect.

Inde Navarrette in OBSESSION (2026) is the kind of casting that makes a movie work. The role asks her to be charming, unsettling, sympathetic, terrifying, and sometimes all at once. By the end, it’s impossible to imagine anyone else playing Nikki.

Even if the ROI was not fantastic, that's about as ideal a return as you can get on a big TPE.

The others weren't. Bear wasn't willing to let her know how he felt, nor was Ian willing to tell Bear what he had done, nor was Sarah willing to tell Bear how she felt.
