@FastbreakHoops5 No hate intended..if LeBron was suddenly playing in the 90s exactly as he is now, he likely wouldn't be a top 15 player..but if he learned how to play by growing up in the era to play in the 90s? He would be top 5. Still wouldn't dominate in that era, because of mentality.
@patcollects@LeBronFactory It depends on several variables..if MJ or another star from the 80's/90's played in this era, they would develop the 3 ball more, so I'm sure LeBron would have developed to be more physical & less "floppy" if he played in that era..if you took him as is, he wouldn't be that great
@LeBronFactory You are really gonna post LeBron torching a geriatric version of 6'4 185lb Gary Payton, who I love but he WAS NOT a top 3 best defender of the 90's, and consider that a flex for LeBron? That's... kinda weird... do you watch basketball at all?
@starwarsfan2398@chrisvetano@Hoopss Sheesh... talk about someone doesn't actually watch ball...
You realize that in spite of the cultural differences (shooting the 3 instead of taking it to the basket was considered "weak" back then) Jordan is actually within a couple of percentage points of LeBron from 3, right?
@Ozone1825@NuHuskersLakers@itsMichaelJ He wasn't as big of a defensive downgrade as you seem to think..Pipp was my favorite, but Hill also played both sides of the floor, and was WAY better on the offensive end. Pipp fit better, as he required the ball less to still play his game... but Hill was a far better player
@itsMichaelJ Hmmm..as a huge Bulls fan, Pipp was actually my favorite player on these teams..I just likes his Swiss Army Knife approach..it would have to be someone similar..the most obvious answers are Grant Hill, and Penny who were both actually way better than Pipp offensively.
@td_nash Is it possible? It has already been done..but until that list is met again I don't understand any kind of debate about who is the 🐐...it just seems boring to even talk about it until then...Maybe a conversation of "maybe one day X player can" but that time has passed for LeBron.
@Pierce_Brown NO SPOILERS PLEASE ANYONE..I'm on Golden Son, & SOMEONE just arrived at the gala with someone I DO NOT LIKE..it made me wanna throw stuff..which I am sure is exactly what you intend. THIS BETTER BE MADE RIGHT!! DON'T BE PLAYING WITH MY HEART LIKE THIS! 🤣
@AlZeidenfeld For sake of transparency, he DID complain to refs A LOT..but a lot of it was his own fault for not selling fouls, especially obvious ones. 1 example of his aversion to it is him telling Ewing "Georgetown guys don't block shots, they take charges"..bro both can get the ball back.
@AlZeidenfeld These aren't flops🤣
I can give better examples of MJ "flopping" than this..but no, he didn't flop..as a Bulls fan I actually got seriously ticked off at him when he WOULDN'T sell a foul. Pipp/Rodman took all those charges because they sold it. MJ is on record saying it's "weak"
