🚨BREAKING: DOJ charges the Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC) with wire fraud, false statements, and conspiracy to commit money laundering.

The SPLC secretly funneled $3M+ in donor funds to violent racist extremist groups:

-Unite the Right
-National Alliance
-National Socialist Movement

To hide the payments, SPLC allegedly opened bank accounts under fictitious entities to conceal the source and control of donor funds.

Per the indictment: an SPLC field source was a member of the online leadership chat group that planned the 2017 "Unite the Right" rally in Charlottesville — made racist postings under SPLC supervision and helped coordinate transportation to the event.

FBI Director Kash Patel: "They lied to their donors, vowing to dismantle violent extremist groups, and actually turned around and paid the leaders of these very extremist groups — even utilizing the funds to have these groups facilitate the commission of state and federal crimes."

Acting AG Todd Blanche: "The SPLC is manufacturing racism to justify its existence. Using donor money to allegedly profit off Klansmen cannot go unchecked."

Scheme allegedly ran 2014–2023.

FBI calls it an ongoing investigation.

Congress must hold itself to the highest ethical standard, regardless of party.

Based on the facts and information that has come out, it’s simple:

Eric Swalwell, Tony Gonzalez, and Sheila Cherfilus-McCormick should all resign from Congress effective immediately.

If not, Congress should move to expel all three of them upon our return this week.

Leadership and members in both parties should have moral clarity and recognize some things are more important than vote margins and party loyalty.

NEWS: Bob Costas supports the IOC's decision to ban trans athletes from women's sports at the Olympics.

"Common sense is not transphobic...this policy is common sense."

The host of 12 Olympic games told @CNNTheStoryIs that trans people should be treated with "dignity and respect," but there's a "reason why there are men's and women's sports."

"There is a reason why no trans man who was once a woman and has become a man has ever competed successfully with men in the Olympics."

CNN just fact-checked Chuck Schumer live on air and wrecked him. Schumer claimed the SAVE Act “appeals to only the most fringe element of the MAGA base.” CNN instantly put up the numbers:

White Americans: 85% support voter ID
Latino Americans: 82%
Black Americans: 76%

The anchor straight-up said:
“Voter ID is NOT controversial in this country. Not by party. Not by race. The vast majority of Americans support it.”

Schumer just called 76% of Black Americans, 82% of Latinos, and 85% of Whites “fringe MAGA.”

They don’t oppose voter ID because it’s unpopular. They oppose it because it works.

Time to nuke the filibuster and pass the SAVE Act.
