Incredible coincidence that @nigel_Farage watched the England game in the same spot in the same pub, with the same flags up, wearing the same top and standing next to someone wearing an identical top as he did during the Euros in 2024.
A few things happening at once that people should connect.
Russia is now linked to the arson attacks on the Prime Minister's house and car last year. Shocker.
And we all saw what happened the moment that story broke. Our feeds flooded with a different story about who the men were and why they did it.
That's the operation. The arson is one half. The disinformation campaign is the other.
Flood the zone, muddy the water, get the country shouting at itself instead of asking who is behind it.
And at the same time, a chunk of the accounts pushing Scottish independence on X went dark the night Israel hit Iran's nuclear sites.
Ask yourself why. Why would hostile states be interested in sowing division across the country?
This is exactly what I mean when I say defence is the thread underneath everything now.
Again, it isn't tanks on a border. It's an arson attack on the PM's front door and state-sponsored disinformation campaigns in the replies. It's the argument about breaking up our country being run out of Tehran.
This is why resilience matters. And it's bigger than just factchecking a tweet. It's energy we can rely on. Industry we actually own. Institutions that are rock solid. Communities that don't split and fracture the moment someone pushes them. A country that is built to take a punch.
That's the job now.
After another change in manager with Tony Mowbray returning to Ewood Park, here's a review of Blackburn Rovers' finances, largely based on the latest available accounts from the 2024/25 season #Rovers
So essentially, the only thing stopping Venkys running Rovers properly (within the rules) are Venkys themselves & the puppets.
No excuses now - (not that I'm expecting anything to change!)

A piece that encapsulates the arrogance of Rudy Gestede
Under his guidance, the club went from 7th to having the third worst record in the league. Tore apart a competitive squad. A toxic relationship between him and the fans of the club. A bluffer of the highest order.
His arrogance is his primary trait, he is currently in a job, that he is failing at, without the required experience and here he is pimping himself out as some guru to get a move.
Ligue 1 can have him, we certainly don’t want him. He should have resigned already.
STARSHIP FLIGHT 12
A side by side look at the the launch of Starship flight 11, the final launch on Pad 1 and Starship flight 12 the first launch of the new and improved pad, engines, and vehicles.

•staring to L1 again.
Any Rovers fans who renewed on basis of MON staying. You have a 14 day cooling off period with any purchase. The club must honour a refund. Send a message.
Suhail and Gestede couldn’t get the job done. Again. Despite MON all but screaming he wants the job.
Failure after failure. Lie after lie.
And still I’ll see posts on here from “fans” continuing unwavering support of this.
This is obviously hugely disappointing. MON gave the fans a chance of some competence at the club. He either didn’t get the backing, or he didn’t trust the project.
The most depressing thing is the thought of Rudy, Suhail and Adam completing another managerial process.
Since February last year, that’s 3 managers, soon to be 4 and two caretakers. It’s not normal.
Next few weeks are pivotal for rovers. The 150th year has been a complete disaster on and off the pitch. A clear out of the clowns in charge at ewood, would be the best statement of intent from the club, for the hard reset required. It would bring hope that mediocrity will no longer be accepted , it may sell a lot more tickets, and we may get a manager who trust what they are told and can trully reignite the fan base
The Forties Pipeline System (FPS)
This is the pipeline system that carries most of the oil from the North Sea to the UK.
It collects the oil from 85 different North Sea oilfields, and flows around 550,000 barrels of oil per day back to the UK mainland. For context, in total the North Sea has around 400 offshore platforms between the UK and Norway, producing and exporting both oil and gas.
FPS is a British oil pipeline system.
Exploration drilling for North Sea oil is currently banned on the UK Continental Shelf. It has been since the current government came to power.
As a result of the drilling ban, the Forties Pipeline System is currently uninvestable according to its owner INEOS. They haven’t invested in its upkeep for 2 years.
INEOS have said the pipeline will close by 2035, but without investment maybe as early as 2030, which is now just 3.5 years away.
550,000 barrels / day is equivalent to 38.96 GW of primary energy.
This is 10x more energy than the UK’s new Hinkley Point C nuclear power project, which is projected to cost £48 billion for 3.2GW of electrical power.
Electrical energy is joule for joule more valuable than chemical energy, but the comparison of scale is real.
38.9 GW is more energy than the entire National Grid carries. The largest energy system in the UK is not the grid it is this underwater pipeline system.
With drilling banned, and the North Sea entering a period of forced closure, the Forties Pipeline System is going to close in the not too distant future.
Once the pipeline is no longer economical, the entire Central North Sea oil production will collapse with it. This isn’t something that closes down gracefully, the entire Central North Sea basin reaches market through a single pipe.
BP recently announced they are selling up their remaining assets and getting out, Exxon, Chevron, etc are all already long gone. Nobody wants their brand near this collapse.
The tax rate is 78%, the government wants this national infrastructure to shut down. It will.
The German Chancellor recently called their nuclear fleet closure a “Strategic Blunder”, interesting choice of words. But I think it was obviously a blunder to anyone outside their propaganda bubble.
Likewise the UK’s North Sea.
The German nuclear fleet averaged 10.3 GW of primary energy output over its operational life, which is around 1/4 the primary energy of the Forties Pipeline System.
The UK has a few other pipeline systems but this one is by far the largest and the most critical. Now this infrastructure, isn’t supposed to last forever. But when it goes you should have a plan.
In the UK nobody talks about this. It’s taboo.
A lot of people think “yeah but they won’t let that happen”… well it happened in Germany, and it happened in Japan.
A lot of people want it to happen, and a lot of those people are in politics.
So what replaces this? Nothing?
Is the UK just going to go silently into the night?
At the request of Tony’s daughter Natalie, supporters who would like to make a donation, in lieu of flowers, can do so to her chosen charity, @BRFCTrust, to support their award-winning work in the local area.
Tony was a much-loved member of the Community Trust’s ‘Remember the Rovers’ family and will be incredibly missed by everyone in the group.
To donate to Blackburn Rovers Community Trust, in memory of Tony, please click here: https://t.co/4OkxCvmr7I
Supporters can also make a donation to the Community Trust when purchasing tickets online for Saturday’s game.
Discussions with Tony’s daughter will continue over the coming weeks regarding a fitting and permanent tribute to Tony, to recognise his outstanding contribution to the club and where his life and legacy will always be remembered.
The most shocking thing about this is that Trump falling asleep in public at the age of 79 is a very regular occurrence, and yet the same journalists that tweeted weekly about Biden’s age & fitness just don’t really care
