Rare traits I’ve noticed in people who go on to do great things:

1. They were expected by their parents to enter a specific career, and it felt extremely limiting

2. They could clearly see that others achieved great things even when the odds were stacked against them, so they rightfully assumed they could too

3. They naturally questioned what was possible, and when teachers, family, or friends couldn’t give them good answers, they took it upon themselves to find them

Hate when people overcomplicate things and speak in riddles to desperately try and sound smart and patronising/better than you, not realising that you already get all of that and have already surpassed them in understanding by speaking in simple basic terms BECAUSE you understand it MORE than they do lol -

Example, people who do some small ticket angel investing but talk about how they are ‘in private equity’ or ‘running a sector agnostic venture fund’ - bruh 😂
