Unacceptable service from @TheCourierGuy_ You took payment for a high-value collection of important documents, rescheduled to today, confirmed all was in order, then cancelled last minute and now say you can’t collect for THREE WEEKS. Complete failure to deliver a paid service.
@TamiTamijack7 These crooks (opposition) are just in it for the money. It was never about the people of SA, just about getting that paycheck and securing their pensions.
When a country’s politicians (not all, but the majority) embody mediocrity, you end up with someone like Dan – the epitome of media mediocrity. Outlets like eNCA, News24, and others put figures like him at the forefront, sowing division and delivering substandard journalism for all to see. In a nation brimming with talent, it’s truly baffling that this is the best legacy media has to offer. There really is no explanation for Three-Beany Scam Dan.
@Bound2Liberty@BiancavanWyk16 So typical of @BiancavanWyk16 to spread hate and lies without accountability. Infected with the WMV, she thrives on sowing division, but it seems karma might finally be knocking. Maybe a lawsuit is the wake-up call she needs…
@DanBilzerian Throwing around conspiracy theories about foreign control doesn’t exactly scream ‘master strategist.’ Maybe it’s time to trade the hot takes for some downtime before you strain yourself trying to think too hard.
Ah, Cenk, proving once again that complexity just isn’t your strong suit. If your grasp of geopolitics was any weaker, it’d be transparent.”
For someone with a “platform”,you sure are good at reducing multi-faceted issues to a level even a toddler would find simplistic. Maybe stick to coloring books next time.
@mcuban@BretBaier@KamalaHarris Interesting take, Mark. Kamala’s answers seemed disjointed and lacking in critical clarity. Maybe time to pull your head out for a clearer view!
@lebona_cabonena Leading up to the elections, you shared insightful, informative posts, and it was refreshing to see. But lately, it feels like something’s shifted. Maybe it’s the influence of a few too many Zamaleks, but let’s be real—you don’t “speak for all South Africans.” This constant white vs. black rhetoric is divisive and unfair. Good people come from every background, and labeling everyone the same only deepens divisions. Corruption isn’t about race, it’s about choices. Words have power—let’s use them to unite rather than drain.
I couldn’t agree more. Gentrification seems like a great idea in theory, with promises of revitalization and improved infrastructure. But in practice, and especially in the long run, it almost always comes at a cost—and unfortunately, the little guy and the community as a whole rarely win.
We’ve seen this play out in places like San Francisco, where the tech boom drove up housing prices, pushing out local families and small businesses. In Brooklyn, New York, the same story unfolded, with once-thriving neighborhoods transformed in ways that made them unaffordable for longtime residents. Even in London’s Brixton, a historically vibrant community faced higher rents and lost local shops due to gentrification.
What happened in Braamfontein is sadly familiar: small businesses and local culture often get sidelined to make room for more “upscale” developments, but the community suffers. @jozivsjozi really hit the nail on the head with this one.
@SkySportsTennis Ah, so we’re using “legend” loosely now? Must’ve missed the memo where “pretty good” became legendary status! Andy Murray’s solid, sure—but let’s be real, he’s not exactly in the same realm as the true tennis legends.
@MakuniGanya Well put and sound advice. As the saying goes, you can take a horse to water, but you can’t make it drink. Some lessons only sink in through experience.
it’s ironic, isn’t it? The minute someone’s ideas diverge from the popular view, they’re suddenly seen as incapable of independent thought. This “with us or against us” mentality is flawed to its core. It’s okay if a man shares the majority opinion, but the second he steps out of line, it’s assumed he must be “under the spell” of someone else. Isn’t it just another form of prejudice to think he can’t have come to his own conclusions? Expecting him to conform – and questioning his intelligence when he doesn’t – speaks volumes about the real biases here.
@NicholasNyati It’s disappointing, and sadly, this happens all over the country. I’ve even heard people say, “That’s the council’s job” when called out for littering. Every South African deserves clean public spaces, but it’s also our responsibility to keep them that way.
@jakeshieldsajj@jakeshieldsajj, seems like all those headshots scrambled your sense of reality. Defending Iran while trying to moralize? That’s rich. Stick to swinging punches, because when it comes to understanding geopolitics, you’re completely out of your depth.
@HermanMashaba & @Action4SA what a letdown! Once a beacon of hope, now just another washed-up politician in a crumbling party. Disappointing and shocking, but you've revealed your true nature. Greed at its finest!
A pathetic leader and an even worse person!
@dotsure It is the little things that count.
Have always been impressed with the level of service I have received from you guys. A personal touch like this goes a long way.
Well played. 🤜🤛
