Russell Henley had a great back and forth with a reporter about Bryson DeChambeau’s ruling at The Open yesterday:
“Well, I think it's tough. Every shot is so important. It's tough in the moment to take it no matter. But I would rather know that I did something wrong and be penalized for it than -- I'd like to know. It's unfortunate, but I think everybody should be held accountable for the same rules.
“The issue with that to me is the fact that he's on TV every shot. If I played that hole yesterday, you might not have seen -- and I did the same thing, maybe they don't penalize me because maybe they don't see me do it. That's the tough part; he's on TV every single shot.”
@TheOpen
You said I needed a sub 30 handicap to comment. I, in fact, do have a sub 30 handicap. You said I must be cheating to have said handicap. If I wanted to cheat, it would be more advantageous for me to post higher scores and have a higher handicap as it would give me more strokes in competition. I think R&A made a bad call giving Bryson a 2 stroke penalty given the circumstances. Many agree, many dont. It’s really not that big of a deal.

This is a tired point. Even if you took EVERY cent from those twelve wealthy people, you could only fund our government for a few months. FACT: Homelessness isn’t a resource problem it’s a drug and mental illness problem. Maybe homelessness is up because we have more people addicted to drugs? Maybe from the southern border?
@EdKrassen I agree 100% with this post but please stop with the virtue signaling. You and your brother make a living grouping people and stoking division.
@ninaturner Yes, burger flippers and doctors are the same…. Just an absolutely ridiculous post. There is a hierarchy of skills/determination/hard work/IQ/knowledge that determines levels of compensation. It’s not that hard of a concept.
You must’ve missed the Afghanistan pullout where people were falling off planes, the Russia/Ukraine war, Israel/Gaza war, worst border crisis ever, classified documents in Biden’s garage, pardoning his son…..I could go on. Just say you don’t like trump. You would sound less ridiculous.
@EdKrassen You’re deflecting from the real problem. The REAL problem is government spending/waste. Take every penny from all 800+ billionaires in the US and we still don’t cover the US budget for a single YEAR.
@harryjsisson Dude is clinging to anything. Doesn’t matter who was/is appointed to X position. He’ll find a problem to complain about. The American people spoke. Harry lost, Kamala lost. Their ideas lost. He can’t move on and do something productive. Just complain on X and justify their loss.
@RepJeffries Moment of clarity: Kamala Harris spent over a BILLION dollars in funding in 4 months, lost, and is 20 million in the hole. This is exactly why your party shouldn’t be in control. ABSOLUTELY 0 executional responsibility!
