This is fucking nuts. The “Witkoff plan” Hamas accepted—a phased hostage deal—was actually Netanyahu’s plan rebranded so Hamas wouldn’t feel like it was conceding to him. When Egyptian mediators came back to Netanyahu to say Hamas had agreed to his plan, he ghosted them.
