Court packing is NOT just a federal issue.
Democrats floated the idea of slashing the retirement age, and one Virginia Democrat even threatened a Justice by name to purge the SCoVA bench.
For a party that cries "No Kings", they have a rather dictatorial definition of democracy.
Elon Musk just used a joke to perform an autopsy on the American economy.
Two economists go for a hike. They find a pile of shit. One pays the other $100 to eat it.
They keep walking. Find another pile. The second economist pays $100 back to eat that one.
They stop. Neither man gained a dollar. Both ate shit for nothing.
But on paper they just generated $200 in GDP.
Musk: “That basically would count as a job. This is to illustrate the absurdity of economics.”
That is not a punchline. That is the operating system of the federal government.
Every time a politician celebrates “record job creation” this is what they are describing. Not output. Not value. Not progress. Motion.
The entire bureaucratic machine exists to manufacture friction and then invoice for it.
Compliance layers built to justify the next compliance layer. Oversight committees that produce nothing but the need for more oversight. Consulting firms hired to audit the work of other consulting firms.
Trillions circulating through systems that have never produced a single thing you can hold in your hands. But the GDP number ticks up. So everyone applauds.
The shit gets eaten. The scoreboard moves. Nobody asks what actually got built.
This is why Washington treats AI like a five alarm fire.
AI does not play the friction game. It does not form a committee. It does not schedule a review. It does not file 400 pages of paperwork no one will ever read.
It just solves the problem.
And that is the one thing the machine cannot survive.
The government does not tax results. It taxes the process. The longer the process, the deeper the cut.
AI compresses a ten day workflow into seconds. There is nothing left to bill. Nothing left to tax. Nothing left to skim.
So they will spend the next decade warning you that AI threatens the economy.
What they will never say is what it actually threatens.
The illusion that activity equals progress.
The $200 economy where both men ate shit and called it a job.
The machines are not coming for your purpose.
They are coming to prove that half the economy never had one.
The "yes" vote has won Va's redistricting referendum — but the legal fight is just beginning. Four Va Constitutional challenges are now teed up:
THREE challenges to the amendment process itself:
1️⃣ First passage was invalid. The amendment was taken up during a special session convened in 2024 for budget purposes. The General Assembly's own call to the Governor (under Art. IV, §6 and Art. V, §5) and its governing resolution (HJR 6001) limited the session's scope. Expanding it to include a constitutional amendment on redistricting required a two-thirds vote that never occurred. A Tazewell County judge found this action "void, ab initio."
2️⃣ Art. XII, §1 requires that after first passage, a proposed amendment be "referred to the General Assembly at its first regular session held after the next general election of members of the House of Delegates." An election must intervene between first and second passage. Here, first passage occurred during an election cycle — not before an intervening one.
3️⃣ Art. XII, §1 requires the amendment be submitted to voters "not sooner than ninety days after final passage by the General Assembly." The timeline from second passage to the April 21 vote did not satisfy this requirement.
Plus ONE challenge to the proposed maps:
4️⃣ Art. II, §6 requires that "every electoral district shall be composed of contiguous and compact territory." The proposed congressional maps violate this contiguity requirement (rather badly).
Next stop, court. Stay tuned.
I’m convinced national Republicans spent more money trying to save John Cornyn (who campaigned on giving amnesty to over 10 million illegals) from a primary challenge to his Right than they did trying to save four GOP congressional districts in Virginia.
Do not sit this one out!
April 21st is your last day to vote to save the Commonwealth. Vote NO! Polls are open 6a-7p, the ClarkeGOP will be there to greet you open to close

🚨 BREAKING: Utah Supreme Court Justice Diana Hagen ACCUSED of romantic relationship with the lawyer who helped Democrats STEAL a congressional seat.
Texts reveal intimate relationship between the Justice and Attorney for the Redistricting case while the case was live. She ruled in their favor. Utah lost a safe Republican district thanks to the new map.
Governor + legislative leaders launching a probe into the cozy “friendship.”
Utah never should’ve lost that seat. Judicial swamp just got exposed.

Call everyone of your Virginia relatives and 10 Virginia friends and get them out to vote NO on April 21. I will be working my local precinct all day. See you there.
My mother just told me she doesn’t plan on voting in the Virginia referendum. When I asked her why, she replied that she’s “broken out of the matrix.”
This is the problem we face. There’s an enormous chunk of people who should be with us, but they’re disengaged and demoralized. Millions have checked out because they believe there’s no one out there who will fight for them.
🚨Breaking News: Democrat Governor blocks President Donald Trump's 'no tax on tips' rejecting a tax cut totalling tens of millions for the people of Virginia
#Virginia
Governor Abigail Spanberger and Virginia Democrats have refused to honor tax on tips in the state.
They blocked any change to Virginia’s tax code that would stop the state from taxing tips, forcing tipped workers to hand over a bigger share of their earnings to Richmond than they do to Washington.
The federal “no tax on tips” policy was part of the One Big Beautiful Bill Act.
It allows tipped workers to deduct up to $25,000 in tip income from their taxable income for tax years 2025 through 2028.
The IRS reports that more than 6 million Americans have already claimed the deduction, with an average benefit of more than $7,100 per filer.
Virginia, however, chose not to give the tax relief at a state level - with the new Democrat Governor ditching former Republican Governor Glenn Youngkin's budet proposals that included state-level deductions for tips, overtime pay and car-loan interest.
The move will cost taxpayers in Virginia upwards of $80 million.
Gov. Spanberger and her democrat colleagues have been accused of going on a 'taxing spree' since taking office, introducing dozens of new measures on taxing everything from digital services to dog walking.
Tax proposals introduced by Virginia Democrats in the 2026 legislative session include:
🔷️3.8% net investment income tax on capital gains, dividends, interest, rental income, and other passive income for "higher earners "
🔷️Expanded sales tax on services like: fitness/gym memberships, pet care/dog walking/grooming, dry cleaning, vehicle repairs, home repairs, counseling, concerts/events, haircuts, and other personal services.
🔷️Tax or fee on retail deliveries - including food delivery like Uber Eats/DoorDash and packages from Amazon/UPS/FedEx, with some proposals for a 20-cent or 4.3% delivery fee especially in Northern Virginia
🔷️Taxes on firearms and ammunition - including an 11% excise tax proposal
🔷️Tax on large employers
🔷️Employer and employee premiums for a paid family and medical leave program - AKA new payroll-style tax
🔷️Regional local sales taxes in counties and cities - including for schools or transportation
Tax on fantasy sports operators
🔷️New personal property tax on certain items like electric leaf blowers and landscaping equipment
Tax on digital goods and subscriptions - including streaming services like Netflix
🔷️Higher hotel/motel taxes
🔷️Tax on data centers or skill games/gambling expansions for new revenue

Today, Virginia Gov. Abigail Spanberger announced L3Harris is expanding its operations with a more than $1.2 billion investment in Orange County.
Spanberger's husband works for L3Harris.
According to the governor's press release, "Governor Spanberger approved two grants of $12.5 million and $500,000 from the Commonwealth’s Opportunity Fund to assist Orange County with the projects. The Governor also approved a performance-based grant of $5 million from the Virginia Investment Performance Grant, an incentive that encourages continued capital investment by existing Virginia companies. Funding and services to support L3Harris’ employee training activities will be provided through the Virginia Jobs Investment Program."
BREAKING - Outrage is erupting across Virginia after Abigail Spanberger signed HB965 into law, effectively rendering Virginians’ presidential votes null and void, with the measure handing the states electoral votes to the national popular vote winner regardless of states results.
Governor signed this bill today.
One of many gun bills anticipated to be signed that will make lawful gun owners criminals. There is not one bill she will sign that will enhance penalties to criminals who criminally misuse firearms. You know like murder….
Tomorrow at midnight is the action deadline for the Virginia governor to approve or veto bills.
Remember - the governor can do these things;
1. Do nothing and the bill is enacted at midnight on Tuesday
2. Sign the bill anytime before 1159pm Monday.
3. Send amendments to the bills for the general assembly to approve or reject
4. Veto the bill.
My bet is - a lot of the 2A bills will be amended and one will be outright vetoed. Tomorrow will be a very busy day.
The transportation bill is the absolute biggest mess. It’s not fixable. She either signs a disaster which will be shot down almost immediately by the courts or veto the bill and put it out of its misery.
Stay close tomorrow.
It’s an all-hands on deck moment in Virginia. Join us for an informational dinner in Christiansburg, Virginia so we can give you the tools to help Stop The Gerrymander!

"If the governor chooses to exercise her power and sign these unconstitutional infringements into law, the National Rifle Association and our team of constitutional appellate attorneys stand ready to meet her in both state and federal court."
