Congratulations to Carver High School's senior class on their graduation! We are so proud of them and thrilled for the 42 students who will become Owls this fall. Temple University Police Officer Leroy Wimberly inspired some of the students to become Owls:
“Temple University is a neighbor to these students, so to have university police officers, security officers and dispatchers here, it bridges the gap and continues to build relationships.” https://t.co/jSKYWpmVK1
Temple Police Sgt. Christopher Fitzgerald was killed in the line of duty one year ago, on Feb. 18, 2023. As we continue to mourn our fallen hero, we also remember the legacy he left behind and his commitment to keep the Temple University community safer. (1/2)
Sgt. Fitzgerald is remembered as a dedicated public servant and loving family man. His death was a terrible loss, and he will never be forgotten. (2/2)
Temple Public Safety unveiled a memorial wall to Fitzgerald’s family during a private ceremony tonight to recognize his bravery and make sure his sacrifice is always remembered.
While students are away for Winter Break, the Department of Public Safety remains hard at work to protect campus and the community 24/7, 365.
