It is with incredible sadness that we mourn the tragic loss of Kyle Busch. His family, friends and fans are in our thoughts and prayers. May he rest in peace.
Our hearts are broken for Samantha, Brexton, Lennix, and the entire Busch family. Kyle was a fierce competitor, an incredible teammate, and, far more importantly, a devoted husband, father, and son. His impact on our organization and on the sport of NASCAR will never be forgotten.
During this unimaginable time, everyone at Joe Gibbs Racing and the Gibbs family are lifting the Busch family up in prayer.
Absolutely devastating. One of the worst injustices in life is losing irreplaceable people you feel will always be around. Kyle Busch was always supposed to be on track
We are saddened and heartbroken to share the news of the passing of Kyle Busch, a two-time Cup champion and one of our sport's greatest and fiercest drivers. He was 41 years old.
We extend our deepest condolences to the Busch family, Richard Childress Racing and the entire motorsports community.
@AustinKonenski He didn't have a chance once the 38 backed off (as he should). If he blocks Reddick he gets wrecked or passed by the others steaming behind him. Pack racing is 50% luck. Got the luck after the T1 wreck, but lost it when they didn't throw a caution. Just how it goes.
I still contend that pack racing is more a lottery than display of skill, and that does take away from the prestige of the #Daytona500 , but it still stinks to be so close.
Starting with two pack races also sucks lol.
4th and a Duel win is a decent result. Draft racing is what it is. Sometimes you get lucky, sometimes you don't. Onto Chase's home track next week. #Daytona500
@A_S12@iRacingMyers@jayski Meanwhile it's getting dragged on Steam for a myriad of issues. AI usage, weird penalties, lackluster customization, etc. Things that people actually will see before buying the game rather than buying a console game blindly in a store somewhere. Good luck.
Michigan gets a slap on the wrist for proven sign-stealing and Michigan State vacates three years of wins for recruiting violations lol.
Make it make sense NCAA.
And here we have it:
In 2025, only 19.15% (36/188) of all Cup Series DNFs were due to driver error.
Additionally, only 23.68% (36/152) of all cautions/incidents due to driver error resulted in a DNF for the driver at fault.
Stop treating DNFs as a skill issue. They're not.
@jeff_gluck It makes sense, pushing the West Coast into the morning hours which is church time. That's a demographic that definitely is part of NASCAR's viewership.
