I think pot, like alcohol and nicotine, can be very harmful, and should be regulated and taxed accordingly. I have never enjoyed it, personally.

But classifying it as a schedule 1 substance is mostly about giving the state the power to harass the people it wants to harass.

@geoffslaugh Geoff makes me feel like this a lot. His life seems so long and seems (from the outside) to have drastically different phases, but he's not even that old. He makes me feel like I can do whatever I want for the next 10 years and then just change it, which is very comforting.
