@OPPDCares I have tried contacting a customer service rep for the last several hours and nobody will take my call. I simply want an explanation of why I don’t have power and why we don’t see any workers in our area. Now they say Friday!? Beyond frustrating.
@OPPDCares 9:30 pm Sunday night and we still don’t have power in Deer Ridge. Everyone all around the neighborhood has power, but a few houses around us don’t. Very frustrating. It’s 89° inside our house. Little to no sleep ahead once again. The OPPD robo-call said it should be back tonight
@OPPDCares Maybe OPPD could suggest to the city that the cleanup effort work in reverse order of when people got their power restored. We are in Deer Ridge, still don’t have power, and figure we are likely to be at the back of the line to wait for debris pickup as well.
One of the coolest things in the sporting world: After a shocking World Cup victory over Germany yesterday, a majority of the Japanese fans stayed to clean up the stadium. An incredible gesture and tradition. I bet their moms are proud. https://t.co/1uM6MSkFDa
Just because some teachers would rather stay in the classroom than go into administration doesn’t mean they aren’t leaders. Many have amazing talents which can benefit a school.Good leaders value them as experts and help maximize their talents and potential.
The Burke Bulldogs tennis season sadly came to an end this afternoon. So proud of these guys. Always gentlemen. Always giving their very best. Gonna miss these guys. Especially our seniors, Nate and Travis. It’s been an honor…
The Bulldogs are in action again today “versing” the Packers of Omaha South. Teacher’s editorial note: “versing” is NOT a word. If you’re under age 30, you’re confused right now. You can thank me later.
