@TimBrando@Gunnar33982733 Tim, TV made the Rose Bowl move up an hour from its forever kickoff time so they wouldn’t have to kick the Sugar Bowl at 9 p.m. ET anymore. That’s all I’m saying.
@Gunnar33982733@TimBrando It would have to be the last game of the day. TV is done with 9 p.m. playoff games on work/school nights. Could maybe have justified it this year on a Friday.
@TheRealMugatu Well, they could play the semis on the 8th and 9th, but the 9th is a full NFL day now, and then there’s really no time to play the championship game until the 20th or 21st or so.
Quarters on 12/30, 12/31 (NFL day), two on 1/1, semis 1/7 and 1/8, title game Friday 1/15?
Decent flex for the SEC in regionals, but they had three 2-0 teams get doubled up in regional finals, two at home. Left some good meat on the bone.
But when you look at the total no-show from the ACC, it was a pretty good weekend for the SEC.
