If Trump were to offer a special visa or immigration option to Canadians citizens that were born in Canada, have lived here for more then 10 years and maybe a few other things. I could see a Huge migration out of Canada into the US. That would push an option directly to the population.

There are alot of assumptions in your response. The question was media related. Trust in the headline was my issue. The headline mentioned "girl" why? locally here..the media will say girl but real mean boy.. it helps to understand the story if we work from the same definitions.

I would like to know what things have been requested that are not Trade specific. I suspect that there are asks from Trump that are more about direction of the Canadian government around immigration, resource access...China.. Greenland... Nato. He was joking about 51st state.. but was he?..is there an attempt by the USA to push for more compliance from Canada . The USA will NEVER ALLOW Canada to be a security risk to them.....
