The outcome wasn’t what we hoped for, but glad I got to fly out to Colorado from NC to meet my dad for some needed father-son time.

[Matt L. Stephens @MattStephens]

@JustinTMichael But when I say it, I’m a jerkkkkk 😜

[Matt L. Stephens @MattStephens]

@PSzamosszegi Statistically it is, though. Hope they can get Hejny and the key offensive guys with eligibility to stay. We’re about to learn how true the Hejny falling in love with the idea of playing for Mora is.

[Matt L. Stephens @MattStephens]

This is the least competitive team CSU has had under a head coach since Steve Fairchild, meanwhile Spencer Danielson is on the other sideline like … (and I kind of respect it)

[Matt L. Stephens @MattStephens]

@Hullshow And then CSU kicks a field goal 🤦

[Andrew Schnittker @aschnitt53]

It is North Carolina's world, the rest of you just live in it

[Matt L. Stephens @MattStephens]

It’s not even just the coaching and the scheme. It’s that CSU recruited zero talent on defense. Make a case that a single player on the defensive side of the ball should be here next year.

[Matt L. Stephens @MattStephens]

@mattvanswol It’s pretty simple, actually, Matt.

[Matt L. Stephens @MattStephens]

@MoneylineMatt12 I’m going to put my foot in my mouth and scream ignorance at myself.

[Matt L. Stephens @MattStephens]

It's a good night to be a North Carolinian.

[Kevin Lytle @Kevin_Lytle]

Jim Mora after the game
▫️"Awful performance"
▫️"We’re all professionals... With that money comes an obligation
▫️"The hammer is coming down"
▫️"There’s already a list. The list is getting longer"
All that and more in Jim Mora's postgame presser ⬇️

@LizardKing1893 Agreed

[Matt L. Stephens @MattStephens]

Colorado State is paying $7.5 million a year for this kind of football—and that’s before player “salaries.”

[Matt L. Stephens @MattStephens]

@stephens_brad What exactly do you think I was talking about when I said “Colorado State?”

[David S @DSahimi]

I just don't understand how it's possible to be this bad. You could take Wyoming's backup and third stringers and they'd have a better defense. Make it make sense

[Matt L. Stephens @MattStephens]

I should’ve gone hiking this weekend instead of last weekend.

[Matt L. Stephens @MattStephens]

This is … odd. So many questions.

Amy Parsons stepping down as Colorado State president

[Matt L. Stephens @MattStephens]

@Pfaw_16 So nice being competitive—and victory formation 😜

[Matt L. Stephens @MattStephens]

Colorado State wins.
Hauss Hejny looks like a living legend.
Defense did enough.
It’s a good day to be a Ram.

[Matt L. Stephens @MattStephens]

@claytonlovelace Learn from the best

[Matt L. Stephens @MattStephens]

I always kept and keep it honest about CSU athletics. Some coaches loved me for it. Some hated me for it. Some players loved me for it; some…not so much. Some fans loved me for it; some couldn’t stand me for it.

And that’s OK.

Go Rams!

[Rocky Mountain Ram Nation @mrmorals]

@MattStephens @Charliej2269 You can keep putting “Go Rams” at the end of every post and it doesn’t change the fact that it’s 100% false.

[Matt L. Stephens @MattStephens]

@cpreece2020 I take the blame

[Matt L. Stephens @MattStephens]

So nice seeing Juice Vereen finally become a factor in the passing game.
