@cocoarini From what I've seen online, the main issue is believing that the Preakness has to be second leg. The Derby is far too famous to move its date, and the NYRA really doesn't want to move the Belmont's, so any change to a three month in a row race schedule would fall to Preakness.

@rurashiryu @polyjamd Yep, I'm aware, Phalaris is the furthest back for all playable, but then thanks to St. Lite we have to go even further back to I think Bend Or or Sainfoin? Not Eclipse levels yet... but he's only a couple of generations further beyond, then the foundation lol.

@rurashiryu @polyjamd Go a step further, every playable Uma except for one are descended in one way or another from Nearco (1930s Italian Double Crown)

The only outlier is Mejiro McQueen.

On top of Nearco, Halo and Northern Dancer are cousins as their dams are sisters! It's all a tree.

@GlennAkio Completely understandable, Forever Young's world tour has included racing in some of America's most famous races after all, not to mention in his pedigree, he's very American (His dam, his sire's dam, and his grandsire's sire (Sunday Silence) were all imported from the US)
