@MikeGrunwald Thanks Michael. Same is true in fisheries, where larger-scale fishing is often demonized but actually has the lowest environmental footprint, including carbon footprint. An LCA for my fishery, Alaska pollock, put us at 3.77, fat lower than other proteins, even plant-based.

My team and I worked relentlessly to secure language opposing Russia's unfair, unsustainable seafood trade practices in the G7's recent policy statement.

This was a critical first step, but the key now is follow-through: We must ensure our allies enact comprehensive sanctions on Russian seafood consistent with their G7 statement, which will end this race to the bottom, support our fishermen, and weaken the dictators in Moscow & Beijing.
