To all the athletes representing @TeamUSA: I'm so proud of you. Your talent and perseverance have brought you to this moment, and Michelle and I will be joining Americans from across the country cheering you on.
I will not sit idly as they use me as a prop in a closed-door kangaroo court by a Republican Party running scared. If they want answers, let’s stop the games & do this the right way: in a public hearing, where the American people can see for themselves what this is really about.
Black History Month is a time to recognize the lived, shared experience of all Black folks who have fundamentally shaped, challenged, and ultimately strengthened America. It’s about taking an unvarnished look at the past so that we can create a better future. As we mark 100 years of celebrating Black history, let’s honor the sacrifices of the leaders who came before us, and recommit ourselves to continuing their work.
Nailed it. The big insurance companies and their subsidiaries get revenue and cost certainty from the government and push the risk to the independent physicians, pharmacists and patients. The people who can’t afford to fight back.
They are Too Big To Care
@mcuban Correct. At MassBio meetings, many hospital tried to quiet those who rightfully scrutinized the injustice.
PS my friends in medicine, law and the NFL are working to reform the broken mental healthcare system. I'd appreciate you checking out our work: https://t.co/EC9BWUbB4l
@ScottTJoseph1@JeffBadet__ Scott T Joseph who are you? Doesn’t mean that doesn’t hurt his stock and options and doesn’t mean a guy that’s a udfa gets 10% a shot than an early draft pick to demonstrate they’re good enough. Your crass and incompetent logic is sad tbh
Go buy a 32 pack of haterade on amazon
@ChrisKlemmer I’m of the opinion that degrading another human being for being open about mental health is a cowardly thing to do, marked of an abhorrent human being. It’s time our society evolves to collectively stand for human dignity. I applaud the post Klemmer.
Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson just signed an order making city property off-limits to ICE. As federal troops deploy to Chicago, this is a bold stand for accountability and human rights. No city should ever be turned into a battleground for political power.
We will not tolerate ICE agents violating our residents’ constitutional rights nor will we allow the federal government to disregard our local authority. ICE agents are detaining elected officials, tear-gassing protestors, children, and Chicago police officers, and abusing Chicago residents. We will not stand for that in our city. With this Executive Order, Chicago stands firm in protecting the Constitutional rights of our residents and immigrant communities and upholding our democracy.
No one should be forced to flee, nor exploited or mistreated because of their situation as foreigners or people in need! Human dignity must always come first!

The NFL has an impatience problem.
Big ruling by a court today that JUCO athletes who play college sports, retain all 4 years of NCAA eligibility even if they play a year or two of JUCO
Might encourage a lot more athletes to go that route
Abhorrent. I hope these players get paid an exorbitant amount of money for this excessive use of force. Never in my life have I heard of this. I’m livid. Police behaving that way has no place in football
If law enforcement came on the field and started pepper spraying players after the game, I hope both Michigan and Ohio State take proper action to ensure their players have legal representation.
Unreasonable use of force for two teams fighting after an emotional football game.
On another note, I’m sure Ohio State fans wish they would have shown half that energy during the previous 3 hours.
