Thanks to @GM and an issue with parts replacement on a 2023 vehicle these people are out of luck. GM has offered apologies for the inconvenience and a promise to consider to pay part of the lease bill OR part of a rental fee (not both). They have made 3 months of lease payments and there’s no fix in the foreseeable future. I’m disgusted that after so many years of customer loyalty to GM this is how we’re repaid.

@mverley It is reminiscent of the "cinnamon in the meatloaf" scandal perpetrated by my father in the 90s. It haunts him (and the rest of us) to this day. Nevermind that no one tasted it; no matter that he waited until the end of dinner to tell us. His meatloaf-making rights were rescinded
