Objective 1 ticked off β all roads lead to Tuesday. Amazing support again @BelperTownFC nearly 900 at a step 4 game. Letβs finish the job ππ€@MattWain2
Belper Town is delighted to announce the signing of Attacking Winger Luke Shaw from Leamington FC.
Prior to his stint at Step 2, Luke spent several seasons in the Coalville Town side that regularly finished at the top end of Step 3 as well as going on an FA Cup journey where Luke scored the winner away at Notts County before going on to play at Charlton Athletic.
Manager Lee Attenborough has been after Luke for a number of years, so is understandably delighted to finally seal the deal.
Luke is recovering from a minor injury so will not be available for tomorrow but will likely be involved Boxing Day/New Years Day.
Welcome to the Nailers Luke!
π¨ BIG Signing Alert π¨
After a summer long chase, Lee Attenborough has finally got his man as powerful forward Jacob Fenton joins the Nailers having scored 27 goals and registered 17 assists in all competitions last season for Anstey Nomads, finishing 2nd top scorer in the NPL Midlands.
A massive signing for the club and a big welcome to Jacob!
Pending the usual FA and league approvals, Jacob will be in the squad for Saturdayβs FA Trophy game vs Newcastle Town.
Belper Town are thrilled to announce the permanent return of Jacob Gratton from Cleethorpes Town on a season long contract, for a minor, nominal fee.
Jacob needs no introduction to Nailers supporters and will bring some real quality to our attacking areas as Lee Attenborough looks to strengthen.
Paperwork has been submitted ahead of the deadline, so, pending league and FA approval, Jacob will be in the squad for tomorrowβs game.
Welcome back to the club! π‘β«οΈ
Belper Town are delighted to confirm the permanent signing of Tavonga Kuleya following his release from Doncaster Rovers.
Tav was electric for us in his loan spell last season, chipping in with some important goals before a hamstring injury brought his season to a premature close.
A player that manager Lee Attenborough thinks can go back through the levels, he will add even more strength to the Nailers forward options.
Welcome back Tav! π€π

We are delighted to confirm the final player retentions today, these being Kevin Bastos and Harry Draper.
However Harryβs return comes with a but, as manager Lee Attenborough explains:
βHarry has committed to the Nailers for next season, however, after some recent scan results revealed some extensive damage to his knee, he will spend a lengthy amount of time on the sidelines undergoing rehabilitation.
βUnfortunately at present, it is difficult to put a time scale on his full recoveryβ
