Scottie Scheffler: “I’m going to make golf as simple as possible.”
Bryson DeChambeau: “I’m going to make golf as complicated as possible.”
Rory McIlory: “I’m going to make golf as emotional as possible.”
Jordan Spieth: “I’m going to make golf as insane as possible.”
It’s that time of the year when a Midwesterner sees the current temperature outside is 75° but stop to question whether that’s 75° in a 90° way or 75° in a 60° way.
I am going on record. The NCAA Tournament was perfect at 64. Anything else is shameful greed exhibited by power conferences. Anyone who loves the sport knows this is the gospel truth,
Win it for Austin Davis, Zavier Simpson, Chaundee Brown, Matt Vogrich, Blake McLimans, Louis Bullock, Robbie Reid, Derrick Walton, DJ Wilson, Franz Wagner, Mike Smith, Mark Donnal, Ricky Doyle, Evan Smotrycz, John Horford, Maceo Baston, Daniel Horton. Most of all John Beilein.
Masters watch parties are tricky. Gotta be willing to hurt some feelings. Because unlike say a Super Bowl Watch Party where all are welcome, I want to watch Masters Sunday with ball knowers only. I’m perfectly willing to make small talk, give a shit about the ads, etc during the Super Bowl. But we keep our circle tight for the Masters because it is ALL about the golf.
Dan Orlovsky props up Josh Allen for MVP:
