@davidjusteat@pedrojones76 Yes. A thousand times, yes.
Strange how the vanity projects & bloated committees didn’t come under the same scrutiny (as something as mission critical as the pathway system) when the budget cuts meetings were held… dare I say it such meetings were on the freebie flight to WRC
No figures given. Rest easy as we know it’ll absolutely cover the jolly boys’ outings for next few years at least. Don’t fall for the ‘grow the game’ BS.
Run by amateurs dressed as consultants. What do we expect.
🚨 The WRU has confirmed its stadium naming rights deal with @PrincipalityBS has been extended until 2030, with the new investment directly supporting the growth of the game in Wales from grassroots up to elite levels. 🤝👇

Can we put Dave Reddin at 10 (he can have full control of the rugby side of things then….) and RCK at LH (would like to know how much he enjoys his job up against a Bok front row), please @WelshRugbyUnion ?
I’d like to see that very much. Will pay face value for many tickets
No. This is not how you should activate with @VodafoneUK who I’m sure would much rather a chat about how WRU, W Govt, & regions could offer grassroots clubs access to business support, dig skills & infrastructure that works for the game, economy, and country.

MASCOT EJECTED AFTER APPEARING DRUNK 😳
Sammy the Saint, mascot for 7th-tier St Albans City, was escorted off the field after appearing unsteady on their feet and apparently tipsy at an FA Cup tie 🤯

What a mental survey & consultation doc. 😂😂😂
Still no humility from the WRU, the Qs point the finger anywhere else but at them.
WR is in the mud, because of them.
My optimal solution - a competent WRU executive team to govern the (entire) Welsh game. 🙏🏻 🙏🏻 🏴

What are the chances, that Reddin, Tierney, and Collier-Keywood (& Malcolm Wall) are actually onto something?
And everyone else entirely, is wrong?
'We're asking people to let go of the past and the present.'
Director of Rugby and Elite Performance Dave Reddin is certain that the four regions will be involved in shaping the future of Welsh rugby.
It’s from @WelshRugbyUnion which says it all.
I’d rather see a plan for how they see themselves firstly improving as a business & NGB. Instead they keep letting consultants tinker with the sport, & people’s livelihoods and pat themselves on the back.
Yesterday marked a momentous day for Welsh rugby. 🏉
What do you make of the WRU's plans to cut to professional teams? 🧐

What if we reach the end of the consultation and there is no consensus on a way forward for Welsh rugby?
Some clips from our interview with WRU Chair Richard Collier-Keywood. @ITVWales
@JamesBoatman3@thepaulwilliams Re introduce an Anglo welsh comp by all means. Would be a marketers/ fans dream.
The move to 3 welsh sides could open up interesting champ x welsh A sides comp.
Can’t see a welsh region move into the prem happening soon.
@DragonsLairPod Couldn’t agree more.
A whole package of measures needed (NOW). drastic investment & relations with Welsh Gov needed. Rugby is of strategic importance to ‘brand Wales’. Roof walks etc are side shows.
School, university, academy 2nd tier, and pro regions should be the focus
@Deano_J85@JNPhillips4 Is there enough quality / resources to field more than two genuinely competitive pro sides (consistently top 4)?? There’s clearly not enough to service 4. Spread too thinly atm.
Forget the current cap rule, allow players to play abroad.
