@BBC6Music
Morning poppet!
For the first time in absolutely yonks, I'm listening to you *LIVE* as I travel from soggy Bath to sunny Cambridge.
Wish me luck on the trains.
Love the show. @chris_hawkins
Matt❤️
Today has been one of those days where I haven’t sold anything in my online shop.
Please have a look at my shop and retweet to spread the word.
Thanks.

@HiscoxUK called to tell us that our home insurance premium would increase by £1,000 p.a.
🤔Why?
They said that
1. our home is "on a flood plain" [not true]
and
2. the increase is required by "Government policy" [not true.]
Is this wilful dIshonesty or ineptitude?
@AskNationwide
Your current TV advertising claims that Nationwide will proactively provide customers with information to ensure they have the best possible interest rates for savings.
Sadly, it's evident that this doesn't apply to other services you provide.
@IHamiltonbbc@prodnose My pleasure, Ian!
I'm glad I could be useful.
You reminded me that there aren't enough text descriptions of online photos.
And it's not just folks with visual impairments that we need to consider.
Image descriptions help all online searches for everyone. 🙂
@IHamiltonbbc@prodnose Two photos are taken from the 1970s TV show, 'The Likely Lads'. In the first picture, the character of Terry (James Bolam) is seen from behind, waiting at a bus stop. A bus approaches. In 2nd picture, Terry turns to face us. He's angry. The bus has driven past without stopping.
@PETAUK I have sympathy with many of your aims, but your communications strategy is woeful.
If your goal is to change attitudes and behaviours, this kind of rant isn't going to be effective.
All you'll do is win favour with your most fervent supporters.
@TivoliCinemasUK
Hey guys.
Just read the news.
Wishing you well during these uncertain times.
I know there are many, many loyal customers in #cheltenham and #bath who really value your wonderful cinemas.🎬
Anything we can do to help?❤️
@willguyatt Wholly agree.
And, even if the idea was strategically brilliant in principal, in practice, attempting to devise and launch an international brand in 24 hours is just bonkers.
Thinking and acting quickly can be advantageous for a company.
And if a large corporation can be as nimble as a startup, that's valuable.
But some tasks have an optimum speed.
And sometimes you just can't cut corners.
Launching a new logo worldwide in 24hrs is completely nuts.
