I talked to a third rep tonight. She said my contract would be expedited and that I would receive a notification of a completed sale in 24 hrs; I received that same promise last night.
The second rep I talked to tonight found my contract and said she would forward me to a supervisor because of my experience so far. When I was put on hold to talk to a supervisor, the hold music stopped and Vroom dropped the call. I hung up and called again, again.
The first rep I talked to tonight couldn’t find any indication that I had purchased the vehicle or that I even had a contract pending. He couldn’t forward me to anyone who could help and told me to hang up and call again. I hung up and called again.
I followed up w. @vroomcars the next day to see if my title arrived and to see if my document and contract review could be expedited because of the wrong information I was given. I was told yes and that I would get notif. in 24 hrs that my sale was done and moved to delivery.
@vroomcars I feel like I’m being put through the customer service wringer. Started process of buying, wired money for the purchase to Vroom, and accepted offer for a trade. Started document process. This is where the wheels started following off.
Having hear nothing for several days, I called Monday to follow up and the rep I talked to said that, in fact, I needed to send my title with that form and that was delaying my sale. I rushed my title to Vroom overnight via FedEx.
Received a FedEx envelope w. a form inside and no instructions. I filled out the form and last Weds., before sending it back, called Vroom to make sure there was nothing else, like my title, that I needed to send with the envelope. Your rep said no, I did not. I sent the form.
