It is interesting that the longer we are alive the more of God's truth is revealed by our own advances in science and technology. Science leads us to God if we are open to where ever science leads.

Here is one for you to ruminate on:

Why were babies not circumcised until the 8th day?

We now know of at least one good medical reason for this from the medical community why the 8th day is so important.

Look it up for yourself.

Pope is wrong and is human and capable of error.

Romans 13:4 speaks to this issue plainly:

"But if you do what is wrong, you should be afraid, for the authority does not bear the sword in vain! It is the agent of God to execute wrath on the wrongdoer."

The death penalty is a warning and reminder to others not to kill. The death penalty carried out for a killer is justice in most situations.

@DisrespectedThe When we vote red in a few weeks and let the current Admin turn over all the stones and find more corruption and pass more favorable tax legislation.

Your welcome!

[Matthew Personette @Matt_Personette]

100% correct. You are referencing legislation by LBJ in the mid 1960's that became known as the "No Father In The Home" policy that was passed on from generation to generation as a way to maximize aid for single mothers. It briefly helped and then hurt families as it actually encouraged fatherless homes as a way to get easy gov. money but it eroded the nuclear family. It taught "dependency" and not accountability.

When you give a hungry person a fish, the immediate outcome is great. It solves the current problem. But you must teach them to fish otherwise the long-term outcome is worse because now they are looking for the next free meal.

Buckle up truck buddy and vote Red/Independent so Trump can finish the job. He is not perfect, but we are heading in the right direction overall. No one said the road was going to be freshly paved! Speed bumps, potholes and most recently some detours as the reconstruction of America and the world order is being realigned. Man up and keep fighting for our Republic.

"We the people in order to form a more perfect union..."

It takes all of us working to continue to form a more perfect union.

Nice chart but not historically accurate in all contexts.

Consider: The term "Christian" was first used for the disciples in the ancient Syrian city of Antioch, as recorded in Acts 11:26

It was more a term of persecution whereas the "world" identified the disciples of Jesus as being so much like Christ that they were called "Christ-ians".

The Name: Before this milestone, believers referred to themselves as "followers of the Way" or "disciples," while outsiders used other names. In Antioch, outsiders coined the term Christianos (Christian).

Meaning and Origin of the Term
The Suffix "-ian": Linguists and historians note that the Latin-derived suffix -ian meant "belonging to the party of" or "adherents of". Romans used similar terms for soldiers loyal to a specific general. Thus, "Christian" meant "partisans of Christ" or "people of Christ".

Original Tone: Most users on Christianity Stack Exchange agree that the label was likely created by the witty citizens of Antioch as a nickname or a term of mockery rather than a self-chosen title. Over time, believers embraced the name as a badge of honor rather than an insult.

A projected ~9M CHRISTIANS in Texas will forget to vote in the midterm elections. That election is projected to be decided by less than 300k votes.

If godly people will not engage in politics, godless people will (and are).

[Matthew Personette @Matt_Personette]

@howertonjosh Then I would say there are not really 9M Christians in Texas... many are luke warm or have fallen asleep.

@grok @fluffyguy I listened to "Mr. Blue Sky" by Electric Light Orchestra and that is not the same music that is playing in this video. Are there any other possible matches? This short clip sounds like a rap song with deep base sound.

[Matthew Personette @Matt_Personette]

@grok @fluffyguy @grok, that is not correct. Let's try again. What music or song is playing in the background in this short video, I don't need to know who is in the video, I just needs the details on the music that you can hear. Thanks!
