- Obinna was one of the first targets for Kentucky in the Class of 2027.
- He was offered in September of 2024, just a couple months into the Mark Pope Era.
- Visited Lexington in October when they played Purdue.
- Visited Lexington in Feburary when they played Oklahoma.
- Coaching staff conducted a in home visit right before the portal officially opened.
- Kentucky was in constant talk throughout his entire recruitment before they backed off.
Kentucky is still in need of a backup center and targets have dwindled.
Makes you wonder if waiting on Tyran Stokes hurt their chances with other guys.
NEWS: 2030 - 6’6 Wing Prince Thomas lV (@Prince2030elite) will begin his high school career at St. Xavier, he announced per his IG.
Thomas is one of the top players in Kentucky’s 2030 class. He is the brother of St. Xavier standout forward Jordan Jackson.
