It’s frustrating that when something like this happened once in Australia 20+ years ago that they immediately made a change, while we continue to do nothing. And it’ll happen again next week or next month or next year and we’ll do the same thing again then

Then there’s the rest of the evening. A time often for eating, drinking and socialization but I found it dreadful. I saw couples, friends, families and it reinforced my singularity.

Obviously there are positives to traveling alone, I get to see the things I want, at the pace I want and am never waiting. But a lot of that is most true from 10-5 when attractions (for me, art museums) are open.
