This is how I'd fix the iPhone Duo's ridiculous sidebar. I call it Twin Islands.

Two little glass bars: one around the camera for statuses, one at the bottom for app controls.

Apps get the full width of the screen. Controls stay under your thumb. Thoughts?

But the 53-page filing makes his objective unmistakable:

Avila wants a 5th season at SLU, SLU wants him back, and he’s asking the court to clear the path for it to happen.

The filing says SLU wants him back and asks a St. Louis judge to clear the NCAA hurdles standing in the way.

The MO filing also appears to confront what ended Avila’s Illinois case: jurisdiction.

His attorneys allege the NCAA has 21 Missouri member institutions and that its eligibility decision directly harms Avila at SLU in MO.

The Illinois court never decided his eligibility claim.
