(Late) Paupergeddon recap!

Had a great weekend and lots of fun.
Finished #91 with Red Rummage, a deck I developed together with @Nitrox_18_.
The Rally-into-Madness plan performed as intended, although a few numbers still need tweaking. A couple of losses were also on me.

@capitan_comi @Nitrox_18_ Switchi piano in tutti i MU dove da terra non passi mai, o dove loro possono sidare infinite rimozioni/wratte. Generalmente Cancelli, Muri Combo/Spia Combo, Elfi, Bianchino, Boros Tribe, Jund, Giardini, Jeskai, Famigli, Trono Mostri.

@capitan_comi @Nitrox_18_ Hate per artefatti richiede troppi slot in side che non potevo dedicargli, e girarsi Cecchino è sufficiente per gestire Affo, a meno che non partano con tre Utrom e tre Myr nei primi quattro turni (e anche li te la puoi giocare, col piano Cecchino).

@capitan_comi @Nitrox_18_ Certo, post side il tuo piano madness è più “debole”, e la mancanza di quei danni alla lunga si sente, ma Vision è un ottimo collante per entrambi i piani del mazzo.
Penso siano uno dei motivi per giocare questa versione del mazzo, altrimenti a sto punto meglio Madness dritto.

@capitan_comi @Nitrox_18_ In onestà, non li avrei voluti mai (eccetto una volta in 14 turni) invece delle Vision. Queste hanno secondo me overperformato, poter pescare senza dover per forza scartare è stato game winning in alcuni match, o comunque ottimo per grindare.

@capitan_comi @Nitrox_18_ L’ultimo dubbio è provare il Bruto al posto di Percussionist, per evitare di girarci le Snacker/Fireblast/Temper troppo early, o in momenti brutti.
Da testare, però al Geddon non ha performato male. Solo una volta ha flippato una Snacker che avrei pescato volentieri.

@capitan_comi @Nitrox_18_ Purtroppo l’idea di giocare dei drop a 1 per vincere contro Rally e Madness ci forza a giocare il pacchetto artefatti, visto che fare fornace-guida goblin resta la power play più forte del piano Rally. E tra una cosa e l’altra, sono finiti i flex slot nel maindeck 😂.

Back to MTGA, back to the top. Played until Mythic with the Abzan Yawg version by @AarniMantyla (83% wr), then got scammed by @crokeyz and added the Sam-Cat combo (92% wr). Deck is insane, by far the best deck in Historic.

@SimoneAKirA Art secondo me fighissima (Magali artista stupendo). Per quanto riguarda Historic, in un formato digital-only (i prezzi non droppano e restituiscono le wildcards) mi sembra più che giusto dargli una chance. A bannarla ci si impiega due minuti.

(2/2) Woe has been by far the best card tho. Insane card, give us all things we want: makes 2 bodies for priest, free sac outlet, and comes back from gy everytime we can. I always feel good when I cast it. I think I will go up to 2 copies at least.

(1/2) Some thoughts about the deck:

Priest is nuts, please play her. She's insane in the right matchups. You can eventually cut some after sb.
Conscript has been good, not insane but I think it's better than Witness. Gives pressure, recursion, blocks fine. It's up to you tho.
