Looks like there's a coordinated campaign to trick Google into displaying that the UK or SNP governments have agreed to pay WASPI women compensation for the change in retirement age. This is untrue and appears to be part of a wider online scam. Please RT & spread the word 1/2
This is one of the fake featured snippets currently being displayed. Avoid these sites and any site that says it has a claims feature. The UK government have rejected the commissions recommendation so this is definitely a scam. 2/2

@facebook I finally decided to create an account so that I could keep other parents updated about the work of the Parent Council and PTA only to have it be disabled before I could even finish filling out my bio details. My appeal has also been rejected which is #ridiculous.
It's taken a bit of time and refinement but I'm finally able to share v1 of my Computational Thinking posters. Please bear in mind that these were designed for the Scottish CS curriculum, my former school's languages & general enough to apply to all year groups. DM for a copy 1/2
@GregReidCS Thanks Greg. In my IT role I'll still be a passionate supporter and advocate for school level Computing education and Computing teachers. If you ever think I can help with anything please get in touch.

Sunday shopping disaster, apparently providing a picture with the QR code of your clubcard app isn't enough for Camelon @Tesco. Never been mentioned until today so shop aborted. App doesn't always load due to poor signal which is why I use a picture. Off to @sainsburys instead.
@mconlon68 Thanks Michael, it was an interesting course particularly the lab exercises and the problem based scenarios. I hope you and the family are doing well.
I decided to learn more about Cyber Security over the summer and studied for CompTIA Security+ certification. I've just sat the exam this morning and passed with 88%. I'm delighted 🎉
@waltatek Thanks Walter. It was an interesting course and the hands on lab exercises let me try out various tools in Kali Linux and Windows Server 2019. I feel a lot more confident about Cyber Security.
Day three of "Walking with Mother" was a bit like a 15 mile assault course in the rain from Rowardennan to Inverarnan. It's much more challenging than you'd think but we both made it back safe and sound.
Day two of "Walking with mother" and we made it to Rowardennan. Felt a bit like the grand old Duke of York. We didn't have 10,000 men but did do lots of climbing up and down hills both big and small.
It's a battle royale in the Donaldson house tonight. By special request, my boy asked me to draw a King Kong vs Robo-Mecha Dinosaur fight. He drew Spike Dino vs Water Guy having a bit of a disagreement to show me how it's done.
3. The lack of relevant or trustworthy evidence that supports many of the claims in the FAQ's section.
4. The contradictory claims about what the changes prevent. e.g. narrowing of the curriculum even though teachers will have 95 or 133 hours less teaching input each year.
Falkirk council planning huge cuts to pupils face to face teaching time in Primary & Secondary. Reduction of 2 hours 30 mins per week in Primary & 3 hours 30 mins for Secondary compared to Scottish avg. Falkirk residents pls consider signing petition👇 https://t.co/KJu5onRMOX 1/3
You should also contact your local councillor and MSP and highlight any concerns you may have. My own include
1. The lack of transparency over the decision making process and the alternatives that were considered.
2. The way details of these changes have been presented.
