New: Last week, right off the House Floor, Mike Johnson's frustrations with the rebels who delve the House into chaos boiled over.
During a heated discussion with Rep. Anna Paulina Luna, who has held the floor and legislation hostage throughout this Congress, Johnson finally had enough.
"I’m sick of this shit," he snapped.
Almost immediately, Johnson apologized to Luna for his outburst. He then walked over to the elementary-school-aged son of Rep. Gabe Evans, who had witnessed the interaction, and got down on one knee and apologized for cursing in front of him.
This scene is indicative of how frustrated most members are with the few who make life difficult for everybody.
As the House leaves for August recess, Johnson and his colleagues are fed up with the conservative rebels.
So much so, that Rep. Austin Scott has started pitching his colleagues on a conference rule change that would allow the GOP Steering Committee to punish members who vote against procedural motions by stripping them of committee assignments or gavels, sources say.

The Anchormen on Israel using a nuclear weapon against Iran:
GAETZ: “If Israel believes that this bombing campaign of the United States, that is relentless and effective at destroying infrastructure and military material, but not effective at regime change. If they don’t think that’s enough to send Iran into chaos, they may use the nuclear weapon we all know they have.
I shudder to think that. I would like to believe that no country would do that again, and so I’m not of that ilk yet, but the argument was made.”
SHARP: “What would the consequences be? Is the U.S. gonna bomb Israel? How is that gonna shake out? Who’s gonna hold them account for that?
Not that I think Israel wouldn’t do it. They have their pathological hatred of Iran and they wanna take that region out, and they have the Greater Israel objective. From a philosophical standpoint, they wouldn’t have a problem with it, but God, what would the consequences be?”

I’m deeply honored to partner with ANIA to help accelerate this momentum
Let’s build! 🌋🤖🚀
He was literally born in a barn.
He grew up in poverty, lived in a railroad boxcar, and began working in the fields as a child to help support his family.
Then he built a technology empire.
And when most men would have retired, he started a national news network from the ground up.
For the past several months, I’ve been researching and documenting the extraordinary life of Robert Herring, founder of @OANN.
It has been one of the most challenging and meaningful projects I’ve ever undertaken.
The film is finished, and I'm proud to finally share:
“The American Dream: The Story of Robert Herring.”
