This is my cousins half-sister.

@NancyGrace is reporting on it: “Brittany Ritter, 37, a #missing Ohio mother of two, was found dead on top of a stopped train in Indiana — nearly 130 miles from where she vanished, according to authorities.”

From my cousin:
“The investigation is ongoing. We as a family are still awaiting answers.... On behalf of my family we all want to thank everyone for any help searching for my sister, your prayers, support and helping stop the spread of misinformation. Any donations to help bring her home and put her to rest and anyone that knew her. WTOL 11 reported the story wrong. She wasn't on top of a train, she was in an open bay gondola train hauling freight.

There's a 16 to 24 hour window of her that isn't accounted for. Last seen on a burnt orange bicycle with big off road tires. Similar colors to Harley-Davidson colors. We are trying to find out where she was from 09/02/2026 at 0830am when she rode past the holland carryout in holland ohio until she was was found 09/03/2026 around 1145am in Elkhart, Indiana by the railroad workers. We just need closure and answers. She deserves better than this.

More details to come about her services, when we know for sure the date and time to pay respects and say or goodbyes it will be announced.
