@RiskofRain Also, it's possible to push into a Multi-player Lobby by accepting someone else's invite that is actively in.

Xbox players go to the group posts, PS players, if applicable, good luck.

@RiskofRain After even getting into the game though, the only thing that works is a Multi-player lobby which:

1. Looks like that.
2. Sometimes, doesn't let you switch characters.
3. Sometimes, doesn't let you play with any DLC's / Artifacts.
4. Breaks again if the game gets reopened!

@RiskofRain I appreciate the response, at least. Hard resetting consoles isn't consistent. When it does work it leaves us in an extremely buggy state...

@RiskofRain I've gotten through once, all characters that should be there have Commando Icons, and I couldn't switch characters at all.

The others in my game could. They supposedly got through to the game by reseting as suggested.
