@AlexisPavlou@Donny_Eagle On the other hand, people like me who detest the game, used to make the effort to plot up in the pub and thoroughly enjoy it. Plus the only time us Gammons cheered on anything 'European'. The EU genuinely missed a trick with this one.
Refuse to get annoyed with Forest over this debacle. UEFA to blame. With this latest twist in the cheesy soap opera that is #cpfc just part of the ride. Something like this was BOUND to happen.
@Barbara4003 You are not meant to find him funny. That is the point. He is there to rub your face in the fact that your only role in his career has been to pay for it via your license fee.
A little rant. Because I can. If you like Oasis then you had the chance to get a ticket. If you are indifferent/don't like them then you did not try to get a ticket That's it. It's a pop band. But it's not that important, either way.
@AaronBastani He is taking us back into the EU. The plan ever since he pushed the second referendum policy knowing it would destroy Corbyns leadership. Suspect he will use the Labour Party conference motion trick again to promote it. Tories fully on board btw. Hence Sunak throwing this GE.
@AlexisPavlou@Donny_Eagle It's a farce. Just swapping leaders of the Uniparty. Personally I am hoping the Tories get Zero Seats. I have zero problems with people who are my political enemies. But when those who are meant to be on the same side stab me in the back, there is no forgiveness.
Actually, that's a lie. Sunak wins. Because I loathe treachery above all else and the Tories have stabbed us in the back. At least Labour make no pretense about hating me and what I value. Might even vote for them if it means the Tories getting ZERO seats.
So we are back into the drama that is a UK GE. Literally cannot work who I despise the most out of Sunak and Starmer. Our country is screwed either way so I guess it boils down to which shade of poison you want to neck.
I know I'm going to upset a lot of people by saying this, but conservatives and the right have picked the wrong cause with Shemima Begum. Yes, what she did wasn't just morally repulsive, but worse: it was traitorous. Yes, she showed no interest in coming back and appeared to...
Just a reminder that it is the Tory Party that is overseeing this disintegration of Britain.
They will leave it to Labour to continue their work.
Until the Tory Party is obliterated the chance of any meaningful opposition to what is happening is hamstrung. If you vote for them, you are delaying that chance. If you wait too long, that chance will pass and our slide into oblivion will be beyond stopping.
