It’s been a pleasure recording #scholarsevensong to raise funds for @_cathedralmusic, including 2 fantastic commissions from @PaulMealor and @RoxannaPanufnik! If you can, please consider giving to a cause that is very close to the hearts of all involved. https://t.co/VwltDnyxW2

[Matthew Jeffrey @MatthewAJeffrey]

@TomNoon11 @Jakey_B98 @DanielJMaw @TheEvensongCup You all need to stop sleeping on Loquebantur. Fast-paced polyphony with plenty of very tasty false relations and some lovely plainsong

[Exeter Cathedral @ExeterCathedral]

“Best of the current [online choral service] choices is the daily service of Compline led by the choral scholars of @ExeterCathedral – a regular moment of quiet reflection, music and prayer at 8.30 p.m. from Monday to Saturday.” Thank you @The_Tablet & thank you Scholars!

[Matthew Jeffrey @MatthewAJeffrey]

@QuizzicalLay @TheEvensongCup It was partially on the list because I hadn’t seen it elsewhere but I still think it’s an excellent piece with some fantastic moments

[Matthew Jeffrey @MatthewAJeffrey]

@TheEvensongCup @TomNoon11 Ah I see. Neither would have won but the Wood is probably my favourite of his canticles and the Bullock has a superb nunc

[Matthew Jeffrey @MatthewAJeffrey]

@edwardwoodhouse @TomNoon11 @TheEvensongCup How can you say that when it has one of the greatest Amens ever written

[Matthew Jeffrey @MatthewAJeffrey]

@KathElenRees Could happen with this free time we all suddenly have

[Matthew Jeffrey @MatthewAJeffrey]

After the suspension of public worship in the Anglican Church yesterday, choral singers around the country have an evensong-shaped hole in their lives. We did out best to fill it with a little singsong up on Dartmoor. I hope it brightens your day.

[Matthew Jeffrey @MatthewAJeffrey]

[Michael Graham @MichaelRTGraham]
