2025 OSU is basically the plot of Rocky 3.

-Rocky is at the top after his victory over Apollo Creed and goes on a string of title defense’s. (OSU wins the natty and then goes 12-0 the following season).

-A new challenger, Clubber Lang, rises rapidly and aggressively, calling out Rocky and forcing him to confront whether he’s really the champ anymore. (Indiana rises through the B1G ranks and calls out OSU’s #1 spot as being manufactured through an easy schedule).

-Rocky underestimates the threat and is defeated and loses his belt along with his mentor. (OSU loses the B1G title game, their #1 ranking and learn of Hartline’s departure)

-After a period of humility, and training, Rocky rebuilds his fundamentals rather than relying on past glory. (OSU gets the next 3-4 weeks to regroup, train, and fix what went wrong the first time around.)

-In the rematch, Rocky adapts and uses skill and strategy rather than brute force, fights smarter, reclaims the championship. (TBD).

I’m not a political person but I am a proud American citizen and today was startling, saddening, and maddening all at the same time.. I’ve realized that I’m a bit naive to how crazy it all has become but watching a man get hunted and slayed in broad daylight because of his opinions made me disgusted and devastated.

This can’t be what we actually are or become as a country.. I believe that the good people will always outnumber the evil people but damn… today was an alarming day in our country’s history.

2 kids lost a dad.. a wife lost a husband.. and societal discourse lost a voice.
