I wrote an essay for Newsweek on a new kind of AI scam that is not getting much attention yet, but that is highly sophisticated and surprising. Check it out: https://t.co/E5ZbNI6jCP
Watching @marwilliamson speaking sanity on @piersmorgan. Critiquing the "gotcha" journalism that dominates cable news' "sophomore conversation, not really listening to one another, not creating a space where anyone can speak with nuance, attacking each other."
@TheMidnightLA@ultrarecords The new songs here are awesome! I’m surprised they didn’t make the original album, but I guess it was already chock full of greatness. Thrilled to have them now though!!
Words can and do absolutely incite violence. It's critical that we all think through whether unabashed vitriol is a good strategy, more importantly wether it's healthy. That being said, Trump of course incites more vitriol than anyone around, and I think that has absolutely paved the way for the toxicity that breeds violent rhetoric and actions.
Fourteen years ago today, we moved into our eco-home, a straw bale house. Completely coincidentally, it was April 21, Earth Day. I’ve always thought that was a fitting and rather sweet synchronicity. I wrote a new essay on the experience and also the importance of taking responsibility for the future of our growingly fragile planet. #earthday https://t.co/xL31AQUxJk
Um, no. We do realize that all that toil and sacrifice was done in many cases by immigrants such as our own grandparents - and yours as well, by the way. Our agenda does include legal, reasonable immigration, but right now we’re now more focused on resisting YOUR agenda of redistributing wealth to only a tiny few and privatizing the resources of this nation until nothing is left for anyone but them.
Excited to see @jamestalarico win the primary in Texas. Hope it marks a new era of leadership! “If your heart is breaking, it means you still have heart… Resistance starts right here by refusing to mirror the hate, and the violence, and the inhumanity that surrounds all of us.”
How a dysregulated political culture makes dysfunction contagious — and what a different leadership model looks like. How @jamestalarico is modeling it... https://t.co/sVfgtUlPle
@VanJones68 Even free and "easy" will not be fair. Far too many people who are barely getting by, but do sometimes vote, won't have the resource of time and foresight to figure out how. Taking time to go to DMV is hard enough for most busy people. It's a scam no matter how you look at it.
@ReallyMarcia I don't even know how to process the rage I continually feel. I certainly have taken action, but there is a deeper well of anger and grief, that this happened on our dime and with our support, that just can not be quelled.
New article: "This is a Leadership Crisis: James Talarico and What Adult Leadership Could Look Like.

There is a spiritual sickness so deep! This is just the tip of the iceberg! But the question really becomes not so much to be preoccupied with the sickness, but rather how do we talk about regeneration, revitalization, and a renaissance of integrity, honesty, decency, and service to the least of these! #TruthJusticeLove
