After a 10-year absence from the championship, Mercy placed ninth in its return.

Led by a dynamic performance from Sarah Roberts ’26, and several clutch races late, Mercy scored 60 points to finish in second place, behind Hillhouse (73).

On Saturday, the team scored 42 points to finish 4th at the SCC Championship.

It was the 2nd straight top four finish for the Tigers, who won the SMR relay & were 2nd in the 4x800 & 4x400.

On Saturday, @MercyXCTF ran 1:51.47 to break the 11-year old record and finish 4th at the SCC Championship.

Sande jumped 15-8 in the long jump and ran 10.24 in the 55-meter hurdles to qualify. It is her fourth state championship appearance.

Our very own Sarah Roberts '26 of Mercy Cross Country.

With a time of 20:10 & a 20-second win over Annecy Vlieks of Hand, Roberts led Mercy to the title and became the fifth Mercy runner to ever win state gold.
