@EDUwithEmily I don't really think of the expectations I wonder what is the procedure if students do not follow directions. It isn't hard to make rules. It is hard to get students to follow rules and have logical consequences if they don't
@EDUwithEmily Nothing wrong with adding a little sprinkle of protein powder to your meals when appropriate. I think most are flavored. Handful of almonds while cooking.
@ModestTeacher Okay so let's pretend this is true - stop having such high expectations of Ts and what schools should be able to do for kids and just have us do the basics: keep them healthy, feed them, have fun.
@edulorechris We have done something similar but now teachers want for autonomy to create instruction that fits their unique classroom learners - but Ts still ALL start with the scripted lesson. Now all that is left to do is manage behavior and motivate students π
@ReadAFkGBook I'm 100% in with everyone that it is a problem but what are actual feasible consequences that don't involve students falling farther behind academically and still support strong relationships towards the school for both students and families?

It turned out that dragon loved pizza
They talked about how each of them had hatched
from eggs, how much they liked the night, and
how flying was hard to explain to someone who had never done it before.
They really had a lot in common

But like the wrinkles on his hands every strand and movement tells me a story. @antwan_eady

It's how your mother looks at you
before she calls you beautiful.
Flowers are beautiful.
Sunrises are beautiful.
Being viewed in your mother's eyes
as someone that matters-now that's beautiful.
