#AdventCalendar Day 5 Ding Dong merrily on High. I was inspired by horn parts of 1st mvts of Bach Brandenburg 1 & Beethoven symph 2 for suspensions halfway through the carol. English Baroque Soloists did excellent recording of former. @AnnekeScott in both!

I enjoyed the challenge that the minor key of this #carol presented, and I tried to voice the chords so that the #horns "stop" (bar 4) and "open" (the tierce de picardie in the last bar!) together. Artfully played by @AnnekeScott on horns in F, Eb and G!
