@izzyslovenian His positioning was stellar. Never seen a striker get behind so well. Shame he had the issue of more time = worse finish. I don’t think it’s as much of a train wreck as people are saying it is. Conway can be just as wasteful. Just never in the space of 5 minutes

@Boro_Breakdown Carrick has been screwed by the January window. But I can see why the club made the decision, 3 failed promotion pushes isn’t a great return. But I am a fan of Carrick and think he is in the top 2 of boro mangers since Karanka

@mar_utb14 My view is that we upgrade the back room staff or assistant coach. I like the idea of bringing in an old coach who has years of experience behind him to guide Carrick. I think Carrick will be a top manager and probably get a promotion on his cv as well. I hope it’s done with boro

@benjcar_ @tomb337 Cov were doing this under robins anyways. Lampard has only done what the team is capable of not better than robins did. We have had the best league results since karanka with Carrick, why start the build again with a new manager? It’s just another step back

@benjcar_ @tomb337 Hence a better assistant coach with something different and more experience. Boro need stability in management. We have a manger that constantly has playoff competitive seasonal performances. I know we want to aim bigger but getting a new manager just starts the cycle again

@Boro_Breakdown Is Carrick the problem or are we missing what arron danks brought. Do we need a better assistant coach rather than a new manager. Seeing as the one we have has managed to keep us top 8 three seasons running.
