The CEO of Ford once explained to me that the car manufactures in Australia received funding from government primarily so that they could convert our capacity to manufacture tanks if required.
From our defence sites, to our military spend, to our manufacturing - we have been neutered by traitors.
"Your kids, your grandchildren, they're going to be paying off this debt for the rest of their lives."
Mark Bouris explains the impact of high government spending in simplistic terms.
Fears of a recession are looming as a solution to this massive problem by ‘breaking the back of the economy’.
@burkylie12 So who’s the racists here? I can’t stand the facade the greens party lives by, but surely they voted based on meritocracy, or are we not allowed to believe in that anymore?
If you walk around West Footscray you’ll see more and more houses with a corflute sign on their fence saying
“Vote Labor to Stop One Nation” amongst as many signs that say “Vote Greens” or “Vote Victorian Socialists” or “Vote XYZ Independent” (who is really a leftie but broke out as an independent ‘catch-all’ preference, for her cause)
It’s truly remarkable how many Victorians don’t hold the Government responsible for the state of violent crime in their own neighbourhood.
It’s sad to see how politically brainwashed people are to champion in the destruction of our future lives.
What will it take 🤷♀️
@AlboMP But happy for them to inherit your debt. Your fiscal policy is killing families struggling to survive that don’t take handouts. How does that give their children hope?
Albanese tells us India is being brought out of poverty with our coal and our uranium fuelled nuclear power.
He does not admit Australians are being driven into poverty by his rejection of Nuclear and coal powered electricity generation.
Albanese and co keep blaming the war in the Middle East for Australias problems, the simple fact we should be completely self sufficient in all our needs, completely shield from any overseas events, but this delusional government refuse to take advantage of our vast resources!
The cost of diesel in Australia is almost $3 per litre, food prices are increasing weekly.
The average variable home loan interest rate is around 6.49%, and five-year fixed term rates are nudging the 7% mark.
How are young people supposed to get on the property ladder?
In an economy that seems to be spiralling out of control?!
You look at what years of Labor did to Victoria. It is now a decaying, miserable, corrupted shadow of its former self. And now @AustralianLabor@AlboMP is doing the same to this country.
You: “My stocks went up 12%.”
Government: “Nice. That gain is taxable.”
You: “But inflation was 9%. So my real gain was only around 3%.”
Government: “We tax the 12%.”
You: “So I’m paying taxes on the part of the gain that just kept me even with inflation?”
Government: “A gain is a gain.”
You: “So inflation shrinks my money and then I get taxed on the inflationary gain?”
Government: “You’re overthinking it.”
You don't understand how broken the free market is in Australia.
If construction companies can't make money during a housing crisis because of government fees, charges, restrictions, and unreasonable union demands - then we are all stuffed.
Even the public service - who live off the labour of private industry - will end up with nothing when there is no one left to tax.
We are heading toward collapse - and the RBA is stamping on the hands of home owners and businesses holding onto the cliff edge.
