Disgraceful service from @britishairways at Bergerac Airport on Saturday. Flight to Southampton cancelled. Adults and children in tears. No help. No advice. Passengers abandoned. This is supposed to be our national airline.
@JMNSwimmer @Swim_England@swimsoutheast I personally as a parent would sacrifice not watching my children swim if it means they can swim in normal competitions again. It's not far that they should be restricted. No spectators= more space.
@MikeAnnable @JMNSwimmer @Swim_England I personally think. Local club comps this season. To establish some proper times. Earlier county championships next season, around October. Maybe regional then Early December. Avoid January as if there was another lockdown it would probably be then.
@MikeAnnable In my opinion there has been such a disruption. The whole swimming competition cycle needs starting again. This means from the bottom up. This feels as if they are trying to jump straight into regional level to soon.

@BBCWorld They are letting 1000s die due to the risk of a few dieing of blood clots. Seriously I am not a mathematician but work it out. @Canada@CDUMerkel, @EmmanuelMacron
Portsmouth Northsea are back! Great to see our U18 swimmers back in the pool this week. A huge thank you to everyone that helped us get back to swimming.

@JMNSwimmer Its not swim Englands fault. That @HuddlestonNigel DCMS, Must have ZERO backbone at all. Or just not give a monkeys about sport, which he is Minister of. I can understand rules etc are needed and we can't proceed as normal. However some of the rules are PATHETIC. Get a grip.
@jonfarthing1 @MikeAnnable I thought that on the first lockdown Our local pool took well over a month after the date to open. They were not interested in getting the pool up and running ,there focus was on the gym. More money-profit in it.
@MikeAnnable My tweet from January 1st.
"We personally have just told the kids they most probably will not swim again till mid March. They are gutted. Harsh but maybe realistic."
I thought that would be the worse worse case scenario at the time. 😪
