@JasonCZhang That’s like when someone holds pressure with a pack of 4x4s and an entire hand rather than a finger or two directly where there’s bleeding
Not so far removed from the residency application process myself, I remember what it was like attending this open house just last year! Come see what my amazing co-interns @AshleyYJChoi, @KiahMW, and I have been up to since then and what makes @StanfordCTSurg such a special place
Join us @StanfordCTSurg this Thursday, August 5th at 5PM PST for a Virtual Open House about our I-6 program, featuring a short talk from our chair, Dr. Woo, and breakout rooms with the residents to get a sense of why we love this place so much! https://t.co/8PpmblMWGz
Intern year summarized by my Eufy: messing up something simple and running into a wall until someone helps you. Before messing up something else 5 seconds later. Wash, rinse, repeat #medtwitter@AshleyYJChoi@KiahMW@JasonCZhang@bofengchen
Probably the best trio since the Golden Trio! Equally excited to start @StanfordCTSurg residency with @AshleyYJChoi and @KiahMW and for my spot in the middle of pictures for years to come
@jbcarmody@AndrewAckerMD I undrstnd how that would artificially deflate CT's match rate. Except, the same is true for all surgical sub-specialties. I guess the difference is CT's SSS. From experience, the opposite scenario is more likely for "successful" CT applicants whom the metric attempts to capture
@SportsRadioWIP Just because McNabb has more counting stats as a result of having more opportunities doesn't make him more clutch than Foles. The only stat that matters: Super Bowl wins/starts. Foles 1/1 (100%), McNabb 0/1 (0%)
Very fitting way to end my medical school career by hosting @PennSurgery's Dr. Julius A. Mackey Distinguished Graduate Lecturer, @StanfordSurgery/@StanfordCTSurg's Dr. Joseph Woo, meeting with @PennMedicine medical students for the D. Hayes Agnew Surgery Society!
