“Nigerian artists don’t make any money from concerts in Nigeria even Davido, Burna Boy and Wizkid mostly do it for free and the love of the fans
That’s why Asake is reportedly charging ₦300,000 for regular tickets 🎫”
—Johnny Drille
Advice for the “OG”s…
Please stop going on these platforms to tell sad stories about your past, and about who you’ve helped that doesn’t pick your call anymore. Nobody cares!
If you don’t have happy stories to tell about yourself and your career when you were reigning, going on platforms to be doing “calling out” is just setting yourself up for ridicule. The kids out there only see you as broke and bitter. Nobody owes you anything. And that is the harsh truth.
Tell your story. Celebrate yourself. Put some respect on YOUR name. Peace ✌🏾
