Me when I see English first language speaking Canadians and Americans who never lived in Quebec try to pronounce Montreal in French, or say βMont Royalβ instead of Mount Royal
Please. Stop. Itβs pretentious and you sound like a dolt when you do it!
@SocTransitLover Consumer AI is mostly a joke, but enterprise-grade AI is legitimately powerful
I use it Claude Code in terminal everyday at work and itβs made work more efficient, and even fun at times
No idea what Rysana does though
@FergusAristotle@mexicandyyyy And donβt forget the race-coded money transfer apps that are seldom integrated at bank level
Iβve offered constructive product ideas for etransfer only for Canadians to want to rip my head off for them, but like Venmo/CashApp/Zelle are awful in implementation
@TheCanadian19 Yes! Love their drinks and Tims NEEDS real competition! I mean see their actions over the last couple weeks
Gonna be a nice nostalgia vibe too here in Quebec
@taxspendlib Tf did I just read? Like no shit itβs an ad!
Odds are the guy was paid in $1M worth of OpenAI shares aka 6 packs of Oreos a few months after it IPOs
This has quietly been a miracle month in medicine.
In the last 5 weeks weβve got news on:
- retatrutide, the triple agonist GLP-1 from Lilly, basically melting fat and body-wide inflammation at record levels
- RevMedβs new pancreatic cancer drug showing unprecedented abilities to extend life
- small trial of a one-and-done PCSK9 gene editing therapy for slashing LDL cholesterol
- Mayoβs AI-assisted radiology showing vastly improved cancer detection
- this new therapy for metastatic solid tumors
This stuff is at varying levels of evidence. Retatrutide is ~100% on its way, other stuff needs more clinical trial data. But put it together and weβre maybe on the verge of majorly reducing the mortality of heart disease and cancer, the two leading causes of death in America.
@SpaceWalkerReal See what Claude gives you!
ChatGPT is fast losing relevance outside doing for-fun slop banter
Grok is basically a glorified search engine
