@enimeji@percyishim Not at all. Both parents should sacrifice for their children by prioritizing the marriage instead of treating like a test drive of a car. Only 5% of black children have both parents in the home at age 18.
@Ausbloke93@DivinelyDesined From your link: “Although several scenarios have been posited to explain how this organelle might have been originated, the actual series of evolutionary events that have given rise… has never been accomplished.” —>
[i.e., WE HAVE NO IDEA]
@ReillyOToole1@DivinelyDesined “Repurpose” implies teleology that blind evolutionary processes by definition does not have. But the wording sounds more plausible.
@Sci_Nature0 Psalm 8 8:3–5
When I consider your heavens, the work of your fingers,
the moon and the stars, which you have set in place,
what is mankind that you are mindful of them…
You have made them a little lower than the angels
and crowned them with glory and honor.
@naokikoan04@IntellChaos@DivinelyDesined It requires ATP to make protein, and ATP plus protein to make ATP, even at the simplest forms of life. No one has solved that chicken and egg relationship if they have explained it please show a link below.
@GregBacklund@DivinelyDesined In other words, if the bacteria has a receptor for penicillin, and the receptor breaks, then that becomes penicillin-resistant bacteria. It is not a new protein or function developing. A better analogy is a broken door lock, so then the key doesn’t work.
@GregBacklund@DivinelyDesined Greg, in medical school you learn that bacterial antibiotic resistance is a broken system in the bacteria. It’s not evolution up. It’s breaking down so it’s not really the example it’s made out to be.
