@steelcityundrgr Because ARod is a year older. He’s at an age where his play falling off a cliff is historically likely. He struggled va pressure. Because he played poorly against better defenses (top 10 in yards, 59% completion, 171 yards per game, 7td 6int, a fumble and safety).
@MichaelBeck56 No. It’s not worth the 2 and probably the 3 to trade up for a LG PARTICULARLY when LT is still a question mark. That would make the investment in the OL (1st and 3rd for Jones, 1st for Troy, 2nd Frazier, 4th McCormick + 1,2,3 for Vega) ludicrous.
@BaddestBearJew Going OL in round 1 doesn’t solidify the group for the next decade. 5-6 years maybe.
Assuming Rodgers is back, you’d have the QB most reliant on his receivers to playmake and one playmaking receiver on the roster. You have a FO that has shown an ability to find OL but not WR
@SdDehays@lady_valor_07 This is wrong. In the vast majority of states servers tips are considered part of their wage and they make less than $3 an hour in actual wages.
@DaveMcSmit1738@ThePoniExpress He’s not starting a 6th round pick who has never played. If ARod comes back and it’s a 10 win season maybe but there will be other QBs available. If the floor falls out then it’ll be a high pick on a QB. If ARod doesn’t come back it’s a QB in FA or trade or the draft.
@MichaelBeck56 Why is a rockstar DC coming in to this mess.
Yeah. It was also short sighted last year. A long with a bunch of older vets. So was hiring a 62 year old coach. You hire Mike McCarthy to maintain the status quo not to change.
@CarneyMedia It just keeps getting worse. Any hope for the franchise died. It’s bad process all the way through. Art just wants 8-10 wins and a chance to make the playoffs. This isn’t a move that wins rings. It’s a move by a bad owner who doesn’t want to pay for a staff or new facilities.
