Steelers fans fighting each other!! Apparently in the square too. Idiots. Bring shame to the hockey world

[Matthew Wilks @MatthewWilks11]

@Tankperv What does that have to do with anything related to my tweet? Fans should not fight with each other period! No matter what jersey!

[Heather Whitmore @01_stitch]

Glad to hear he’s ok, it looked really nasty! 🖤💛🖤💛

[Matthew Wilks @MatthewWilks11]

@itssarahkaye @PanthersIHC @steelershockey Disgusting behaviour. Not seen it for a while. Me and my friend have been going from early 2010.

[Matthew Wilks @MatthewWilks11]

@noy_josh Wasn't in the stands it was more in the foyer area, a lot of words exchanged, seemed to be most Steelers fans, between themselves, very bizzare, I'm a season holder in block 5 upper.

[Matthew Wilks @MatthewWilks11]

I noticed last night, a lot if new faces, new to the hockey scene, while this is good, the attitude of 'SOME' bought a football hooligan status, it just doesn't bow'd well in hockey, take your rubbish back to the pitch where it belongs and leave the #HockeyFamily alone. 😊

[Matthew Wilks @MatthewWilks11]

I hope this wasn't a panthers fan. We do not abuse and damage property. Very embarrassing for both organisations if this is the case. No place for people like this in hockey. Banter is fun, abuse and physical damage is not.

[Matthew Wilks @MatthewWilks11]

@brooke_lynda I imagine it's a very small minority of people, possibly not even panthers fans that caused the damage, plenty of idiots drinking around the area, I believe some Steelers fans were causing trouble too, also fighting amongst themselves. People like that no matter what jersey OUT!

@PantherAS90 Coventry was alot better. Although I believe tonight we were alot more laid back and didn't really ramp it up. Comfortable win.

[Matthew Wilks @MatthewWilks11]

@HattonLisa @PanthersIHC Yes, just seen on Facebook, he went to A and e , four stitches bless him. All well though.

[Rob Salmon @spidey198731]

We never really got out of second gear tonight and still managed a 5-2 win. Steelers were better tonight than so far this season but still really poor. Let's go to Belfast and get a four point weekend #PanthersNation @PanthersIHC

[Matthew Wilks @MatthewWilks11]

@robsalmonf1 @steelershockey Apparently, a drunk fan had a go at someone's daughter so it sort of makes sense, if someone did that to my daughter id protect her too

[Nottingham Panthers @PanthersIHC]

The Nottingham Panthers defeat the Steelers in front of a sold out crowd on Saturday night!

@sianmarie_xo @laurenpugh64 Apparently so, in the square. Idiots, specially if children were involved. Sad indeed
